DJ Oneil is a NYC based open format DJ who plays Hip Hop, R&B, Soca, Dancehall, Kompa as well as Reggaeton. He became engulfed with the nightlife scene by working at Nzuri Lounge in Brooklyn as a server. Throughout his time working at Nzuri Lounge he had seen some of the best Caribbean DJs come to Nzuri Lounge and perform. By seeing the effects these DJs had on their audience it allowed him to not only fall in love with DJing but it inspired him to become a DJ.
Within 2 years of becoming a DJ he became the resident DJ at Nzuri Lounge. He has played at some of the hottest spots in Brooklyn, Queens, as well as Long Island. He also put out a mixtape known as Culture Mix Pt.1 that has gained over 160,000 views within 1 year. DJ Oneil’s mixes can be found on Soundcloud, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, IHeartRadio, and Youtube. He strives to put out mixes that not only show his versatility but allow his listeners to always feel as if there is a mix for them.
DJ Oneil has also been on 2 radio stations within the last 2 years. In 2019 he made his first appearance on Caribbean Power Jam Radio which is an online radio station that broadcasted to many cities within the United States and in the Caribbean.
DJ Oneil continues to evolve as DJ and will continue to strive to please the people with his talent.
